Last winter a vagrant eagle from Russia, the Steller’s Sea-eagle, captured the world’s imagination after it spent the winter on the coast of Maine. This majestic eagle was spotted several times throughout the Boothbay region, including on several Boothbay Region Land Trust preserves. The Steller’s was spotted again this winter in Midcoast Maine.
