Story Trail: A Logs Life

May 15, 2020 - June 8, 2020

Looking for something to do with your kids during this time of remote learning and social distancing? Come outside and read a family friendly book while on a short and easy hike!  This free 1 mile story trail starts from the Oak Point Farm parking lot kiosk and can be completed anytime during daylight hours. The current story trail features the book “A Logs Life” by Wendy Pfeffer. The book is an informative and creative tale about a fallen oak tree in the forest, teaching young readers about the various purposes it serves in the ecosystem during every step of its life cycle. After your story walk, see if you can find your own fallen log to investigate. Share your results with BRLT on Facebook or via email at brlt@bbrlt.org; we’d love to see them!
