Schoolhouse Pond Preserve Hike

Discover the history and ecology of Schoolhouse Pond Preserve during a guided one-mile hike with the Boothbay Region Land Trust. The preserve was once the site of a schoolhouse and the cranberry bog is known locally as Schoolhouse Pond. The scenic, mile-long loop trail includes a variety of wildflowers, a mixed forest, interesting rock formations, and a beautiful old stone wall.
