With summer and fall rains come a rich and diverse flush of would mushrooms in our forests and fields. Mushrooms have grabbed the imagination and interest of all as we seek a closer relationship with nature and a better understanding of the ecology of our forests. Join a Maine mushroom expert Greg Marley for an exploration of fungal ecology, edibility, toxicity and above all the wonder of mushrooms. Come prepared for a good walk in the woods, an open mind and your curiosity. Feel free to bring in a couple of mushrooms to identify or to show off.
