Signs of Spring Hike

April 11, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

After a long Maine winter, the first signs of spring are a welcome sight, offering promises of growth and renewal. While some of the signs of spring are obvious, like longer daylight and warming temperatures, some are less noticeable, such as the swelling of buds on trees and the return of frogs and salamanders to our vernal pools. Discover the signs of spring during a slow-paced 1-mile walk through field and forest, alongside a freshwater pond and tidal inlets.

This free event is open to everyone and limited to 12 participants. Registration is required by contacting BRLT Environmental Educator Tracey Hall at thall@bbrlt.org or 207-633-4818. In the case we need to reschedule due to inclement weather, we’ll notify those registered by email and post an update to this page. We love dogs, but ask that you leave them at home for this guided hike.
