Field & Forest Family Fun Day

A day full of family fun including music, a bounce house, and nature-focused activity stations on one of Boothbay Region Land Trust’s most beautiful preserves! Join us at Oak Point Farm and explore all this location has to offer including our natural playground, our visitor and nature center and loads of fun activities all afternoon. Food will be available for purchase. This event is FREE to the community!
Food will be Available!
We will be selling hotdog lunches all afternoon ($5 for a hotdog, bag of chips and a soda).
Free popcorn will be available all day!
Water stations will be available all day.
Activities will include:
- Bounce house
- Dunk Tank
- Sun print station
- Woodblock prints with Villard Studios
- Bubble station
- Pond exploration
- Scavenger hunt
- Story trail
- Build a bug hotel / nature crafts
- Bounce house
- Dunk Tank
- Face painting
- Water games
Scheduled special events include:
- Nature hike at 11:30am-12pm meet in the farmhouse breezeway
- Geology Talk at 12:15pm-12:35pm at the dock
- Bluebird Nesting Program Talk at 1pm-1:30pm under the tent
- Lobstering demos at 2pm-3pm (stop by the dock at anytime during this hour for a demonstration)
