Please join us for our Annual Membership Meeting on Thursday, September 26 at 5pm at Harbor Theater, which will include a feature-length nature film and brief business meeting.
This year’s unique program will feature the captivating newly released nature film, A Peace of Forest, filmed, directed, and produced in Maine by Lee Ann Szelog and Thomas Mark Szelog over the sequence of ten years. Prior to the screening, the Szelogs will be available to share the challenges and achievements they faced in the making of this film, and will also lead a short question and answer session following the screening.
Guests will enjoy complimentary refreshments upon arrival. A very brief Boothbay Region Land Trust year-in-review and business meeting (voting of board officers/members) will follow the film. Tickets are required: $15 per adult (children attend free).
Please note: In order to participate in voting, attendees must be members of Boothbay Region Land Trust. A member is any person/household who has donated any amount to Boothbay Region Land Trust within the past 12-months. A Peace of Forest
This first feature-length wildlife movie ever filmed and produced in Maine is a one-of-a-kind cinematic adventure. An original story filled with inspiration, viewers of all ages and audiences will be engaged in a fresh, entertaining and informative manner as they observe common and uncommon wildlife and the fragile balance between nature and human culture.
