Rob WheelerRobert “Rob” Wheeler

Rob has been in the financial services industry for over twenty years. His career started in banking where he spent the majority of his time at Key Bank. In 2001, Rob left banking to join J. Edward Knight & Co. Rob purchased the agency in 2009 and now operates six agency locations in mid coast Maine.

Rob lives in Boothbay  with his wife Sandy and their daughter. He has served on numerous nonprofit  boards and is actively involved with several insurance industry councils, both on a national and local level. Rob grew up in the Boothbay region and enjoys boating and all types of outdoor activities.

Rick ElderRick Elder

Rick Elder is the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of First National Bank. His prior board experience includes the Boothbay Region YMCA (past President), Boothbay Harbor Rotary Club (active member, past President), and St. Andrews Hospital (Treasurer).  Rick is a graduate of the University of Maine and holds a certificate from the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking.  He and his wife Monica have two adult daughters and reside in Edgecomb.

Stan WakefieldStan Wakefield

Stan Wakefield grew up in Pensacola, Florida & graduated from Florida State University before embarking on a 22 year career in the Navy where he served as an intelligence officer before retiring in 1993.  After his service, he owned a landscaping business in addition to his extensive nonprofit volunteer work related to veterans, wildlife, environmental research, and conservation. He lived in northeast Florida until 2018 when he moved to Maine.

Stan resides in East Boothbay with his wife of fifty years, Gloria. He is a longtime avid birder and has been a volunteer for the Boothbay Region Land Trust since 2015. Check out Stan’s blog, ‘The Bird Word’, on the land trust website under news.
