Boothbay Region Land Trust recently received a $250 grant through the Extreme Terrain Clean Trail Initiative Program designed to support trail maintenance, restoration, and expansion projects. This grant will enable the land trust to purchase loppers in support of our stewardship volunteers. Tools like loppers bolster our volunteer engagement efforts, providing meaningful work that improves the accessibility and health of our public trails. These tools will be utilized at Porter Preserve among other land trust locations to continue recent improvements on our trail system there and beyond.
