SUMMARY:Self-Guided Forest Bathing Walk
DESCRIPTION:During this time of social distancing\, Boothbay Region Land Trust is offering a self-guided forest bathing walk at Hendricks Head Hiking Trail. Forest bathing is the practice of spending time in woods for the purpose of enhancing health\, wellness\, and happiness. Connect to the outdoors as you follow the forest bathing invitations mounted on posts spaced along the trail. The invitations offer gentle opportunities to build your sensory awareness while exploring your natural surroundings. This leisurely walk covers less then a mile of moderate terrain and was designed by certified forest therapy guide and BRLT environmental educator Tracey Hall. It is open during daylight hours for the month of August with parking available at Hendrick’s Head Beach.  Please practice social distancing as you walk and enjoy your time in the forest. \n  \n

Open your senses and connect with the natural world through a series of invitations designed to enhance your health\, wellness\, and happiness. This leisurely walk covers less then a mile of trail and allows time for reflection and connection. This walk will be led by Boothbay Region Land Trust Environmental Educator and Certified Forest Therapy Guide Tracey Hall.
