DESCRIPTION:Read a family friendly book while you hike! Follow the illustrated signs along the trail as they tell a tale to get you in the Halloween spirit. This easy 1 mile walk can be completed at your own pace and on your own time and is suitable for children of all ages. Just drive to the trail head and you will see the start of the Halloween Story Trail. This free event is open during daylight hours and registration is not required.

DESCRIPTION:Discover the Boothbay Region Land Trust preserves and meet fellow hikers! These reoccurring walks highlight subtle changes through the seasons\, while allowing plenty of time to enjoy vistas and conversation. Our knowledgeable volunteers lead participants on a leisurely paced hike averaging one or two miles in length on easy to moderate terrain. Trail mixer locations rotate among the preserves of our region. Participants may attend one hike or several. DESCRIPTION:Babes in the Woods is a nature discovery program geared to children ages 2-5 with their families or caregivers. Participate in age-appropriate games\, crafts\, stories and other activities to connect to the natural world. Special emphasis is made on sensory exploration of ecological themes and usually includes a short and easy walk. Group meets inside the white farmhouse. This event is free and registration is not required.
