DESCRIPTION:Read a family-friendly book while walking through the woods. Follow the illustrated signs along the trail as they tell a tale that connects you to your natural surroundings. The free 1-mile story trail starts from the Oak Point Farm parking lot kiosk and can be completed at your own pace and on your own time. The current story trail features the read-aloud book Nature Did It First\, written by Karen Ansberry and illustrated by Jennifer DiRubbio. \n A 2021 Skipping Stones Honor Award “Outstanding Nature and Ecology Book”. What child doesn’t want to know how things work? Introduce a young reader in your life to how nature works and inspires innovation to help solve some of our toughest engineering challenges. This kid-friendly\, beautiful introduction to biomimicry is half playful rhymes and half nonfiction\, perfect for ages 5 and up.
