The free 1-mile story trail starts from the Oak Point Farm parking lot kiosk and can be completed at your own pace and on your own time. The current story trail features the read-aloud book Nature Did It First\, written by Karen Ansberry and illustrated by Jennifer DiRubbio. \n A 2021 Skipping Stones Honor Award “Outstanding Nature and Ecology Book”. What child doesn’t want to know how things work? Introduce a young reader in your life to how nature works and inspires innovation to help solve some of our toughest engineering challenges. This kid-friendly\, beautiful introduction to biomimicry is half playful rhymes and half nonfiction\, perfect for ages 5 and up.

DESCRIPTION:Immerse your senses in the natural world and connect with your breath in this all-level hatha flow class on the farmhouse deck at BRLT’s Oak Point Farm. Begin your day with intention and reconnect with your body through mindful movement & focus on your breath while surrounded by the scenic beauty of a nature preserve. We will gently warm up our bodies in the morning air\, move through basic standing yoga postures\, do some strength-building\, and stretch our muscles. Class is open to all levels and suitable for beginners. Please bring your yoga mat or a towel. Donations are welcome and registration is not required.
