SUMMARY:Hike the Halloween Story Trail
DESCRIPTION:Read a family friendly book while you hike! Follow the illustrated signs along the trail as they tell a tale to get you in the Halloween spirit.  The free 1 mile story trail starts from the Oak Point Farm parking lot kiosk and can be completed anytime during daylight hours. The current story trail features the family friendly read aloud book “Room on the Broom” by Julia Donaldson.

DESCRIPTION:Discover the history and ecology of the Boothbay Region Land Trust preserves in our series of guided nature hikes that follow Covid safety guidelines. Join BRLT Environmental Educator Tracey Hall on a leisurely paced walk averaging one or two miles in length on easy to moderate terrain. Learn about the origin of the BRLT preserves and the plants and animals that call them home. Locations rotate among the preserves\, and participants may attend one hike or several.
