The Harbor Theater Special Screening of Maine Boat Building Films
On Friday, July 31 from 3-5pm, The Boat Builders Festival and The Boothbay Region Land Trust present two special screenings:
Maine Built Boats: Art & Soul featuring stories and over 30 interviews with mid-coast boat builders. (2008)
and
The Discovery Channel’s Tales of Wood and Water: The Craft and Beauty of Wooden
Boats. The story of the revival of the wooden boatbuilding business in Maine. (1991)

Pirate Raid! This year's festival will be raided! The Pirates of the Dark Rose will sail into the harbor with cutlasses drawn, shooting cannons and muskets, and raiding the festival. Pirates are expected to show up at Noon, so get to the festival early! |

Boat Builders Cocktail Buffet & Art Show Premiere
Enjoy a cocktail buffet with your wine and beer while being the first to see this year's art show. Art may be purchased at the party. Details to come. Tickets are limited at $40. Stop by the BRLT office, call(633-4818) or e-mail to buy tickets.

Boat Builders Festival Art Show & Sale
This year's art show and sale will premiere at the Saturday evening cocktail buffet and continue on Sunday during the festival from 10AM to 4PM. The exhibit will include the work of many regional artists including: Meg Azzoni, John Butke, Marianne Giguere, Roger Milinowski, Paradise Studio, Ronald Parry, Jane Sawyer, and James Taliana.
Artist Kim Villard always creates a magical setting for the show.
